Last night we went to eat with Dave at Bone Daddies, and had an interesting thing happen on the way. We were cruising down 360 in Sarah's Z28 and this newwer white Saab kept getting next to us. His turbo was really loud when it spooled, so I assume he probably put an intake on and suddenly thought he was a bad ass :rolleyes:...
He kept coming up so he would spool right next to my open window and make it known he was there and wanted to play. It was him, his really cute G/F (I assume) in the passenger seat and some guy in the back. The guy in the back kept looking over at me, and when I would look at him, he would give me that cocky smile like they knew they were so fast... I didn't bite. I looked over again while he was spoolin right next to my ear, and the g/f gave me this awesome smile... The smile! :eek: Right as I was thinking "Whoa, she's giving me 'the smile'", she looked me in the eyes and make a really sexy air kiss thing. You know, the kind thats slow and sexy and looks awesome if she has really nice lips, which she did... :D
Ok, I'll bite... I put it down to 3rd at about 40-45mph, but I didn't jump on it right then... As soon as he heard the rev's go up a little, he punched it. That spool prompted me, so I layed into it a little... Never above 5K and not quite full throttle, but put 5-6 lenghts on him by 4-5 shift and I shut down... :D
When I stopped at the light to turn left, he came up on the right a few lanes over and gave a sarcastic clap of approval like we were beneath him... I assume he was compensating since his girlfriend was flirting with me right before I made him my bitch... As far as I am concerned, I won twice, once with his g/f and once against his car... :D:D:D
