Haha...V6FirechickenFromHell and I had a little grudge match going between his V6 Firechicken and my old car, so we took it to Ennis yesterday. We made three passes and they went like this (approximately since the timeslips are at home):
Me Him
16.6 @ 80.0 17.0 @ 80.1
16.49 @ 83.1 17.1 @ 80
16.29 @ 83.1  17.0 @ 80
:D New best in the beater! Brandon was suffering from some terrible short times (2.6's!) and his auto didn't want to shift to 3rd which came right before the trap, so each time he would bounce the limiter. He tried letting out and then hitting it again, but it hadn't shifted yet and so it didn't help. I'm sure he's got some mid-16's in that car once he gets it all sorted out. :D
hehehe... :D

it is an extended cab F150 with 5.4. that 16.22 run was made factory stock. i am figuring that with the duals and the shift kit, it will run about a 15.8 or so. i have 3.55's with open diff. stock size tires. i can't wait to get back to the track so i can try some new things. i am also about to put electric fans on it and a 180 degree t-stat.

You should stick a chip in that beast. I used to race my '01 4.2 litre V6 truck. 5-speed and 3.55's it ran a 10.30 in the 1/8 mile. I have a superchips chip i bought for $250 and all it needs to have done is a reburn. It pops right in.......I'll sell it to you for $125. I'll give you the number of the guy to reburn it for you too. Good people.....they run f150online.com

I'm sorry, what?
You're calling me a ricer? Do you know what I drive? That's pretty big talk for somebody who only makes 472 rwtq.
Besides that, my RS may be slow as dirt, but it was made in Van Nuys, California, and is virtually stock. I'm not sure what about IT is rice either.
