Wichita Falls Thursday test and tune!

Hey,

I went last Thursday, and blew a head gasket the first run. I ran a 8.6@82mph w/ a blown head gasket, loosing all my compression. So I won't be able to make it out this Thursday, probably won't get out and play til the beginning of June.

I'll be out there watching & lending a hand to Jason if he goes. Until I get tires/traction it's just a waste.

Sorry to hear about your headgasket.

I went to TMS on Saturday for the SCCA regionals, and saw a nice red coupe with a chute on it headed WF way. Did it go to the track on Saturday? Did anyone go on Saturday?

Im probaly gonna go, I need a little more "testing and tuning", slippin, sliding and popping isn't the best way to get a good ET, but im working on it, also got a race with a twin turbo rx7 this weekend and I HATE losing to imports.

Did you go?? if so what times did you get?? I didn't go because I didn't want the hassle, I don't have a 5 point harness yet and the tech guy "said" not to come back till I had one.It is coming and will be here next week.

ok, i was in wichita falls this afternoon. i saw a black roush cobra, and a convertable LX with a rollcage. anyone know these guys?

Actually I know both of them,

The Roush is stock, Jeff won't race it.

The black LX has a 306 with stock ported heads, small custom cam, TFS track heat, LT's, 5 speed and 3.73's. It runs 8.30's in the 1/8th. Josh loves to race, he will race anyone anytime.

There wasn't to many people out today here?? I went out for a while and all I saw was Ls1's with their turn signals on LOL:D

No I didn't go since I didn't get my clutch adjuster in yet. I also want to throw on the small pulley and change belts. Hopefuly this week if Jason wants to drop by and give me a hand with my cable and quadrant.

sorry Ken, I completely forgot. Ill be busy tomorrow(wed) but lets set a day and time to get it done. Im now working 7-5 everyday. I recently purchased a jetski and another motocross bike so what little time I have has been goign toward that stuff. I still havent finished putting together my NX kit. Its been sitting in the garage for two weeks now. Ill be out for yout blood when I get it done though.:D :p I wanna race Josh again....this time at the track. and I wont use the bottle.
