I'll be there, trying out my new drag suspension and longtubes.

Not a "fast car" but I'm getting faster and looking for LOW 7's tonight hopefully in this car (http://flowjack.com/stang/ps1.jpg) .:)

Nope, wasn't me...I go to a different carwash on University though. :) I have black bullitts in my street trim (http://www.flowjack.com/stang/bb1.jpg) . I've only seen 1 pewter SS around town though so I bet I've seen your car around.

I call low 7s pretty damn fast! Badass car FJ. Hope to see you there. My best is 7.27 on the motor..........could be a good race.

Thanks, I'll be out there. My best (definately not N/A!) is 7.40 w/ stock shocks/struts/headers so I'm hoping for 7.2x or so now. We'll see. We'll have to line em up.

Thanks, you've got plenty of time...I'm done with the car for a little while since I've got to get the suspension dialed in and get my A/F worked out. The car feels stronger from 4-6K with the longtubes but dyno numbers should come on Monday.

No new bests tonight due to humidity, rain, and bad 60's but my mph was up by nearly 4 on bottle.

Good to meet ya 85Capri.....that Fairmont runs strong! I'm putting off the rollbar as long as possible! I only barely need it anyways for now.:)

I was there with my brother, but I am afraid that we both suck. We were the pair running the Bullitts (a black and a green). It was our first time at the track. That and we were both running the stock Badyears with 22,000 miles and 32lb pressure. But even with the excuses we sucked :( I finally started to get my 60' down when I started missing gears and gave up.

I saw those 2 cars out there...good looking bullitts. I liked the plates.

You're not going to run good times the first time out at the track, especially with those tires. Just keep doing it!

The 7.40 was @ 89.69mph with a 1.563 60'

That was @ 375rwhp and before my latest overhaul and misc. upgrades, etc. I have mix and match jets in order to fatten up my A/F a little but it's basically a 150 wet shot w/stock fuel pump.

My mph has increased quite a bit since then and I'm in for a dyno-tune on Monday so hopefully some good weather will net me some better ET's.

I don't remember running a green Z but I might have.

SOHC's are slow.:p

I knew some SOHCs on this site were closing in on the 11 second barrier before blowing up, but you're blowing through it like the Kool Aid man. Very nice 60ft. Got any launch pics?

I wish I had some launch pics! My skinnies have seem some air time when I was on stock suspension but it feels like my struts are keeping them on the ground now.

I need to go to Ennis and actually pick up my 11 second timeslips. Last time I was out there I ran a 12.1@110 when I was running high 7's or so. I have no clue how deep into the 11's I'll be able to get. We'll see!:D

I raced a green Z towards the end of the night. I won the race. I think it was an LT-1? It was a nice car regardless.
