Ok I've got the MACH stereo in my car that has MP3 playback but I can't seem to be able to make an mp3 cd thru windows media player. Any suggestions? I would really like to be able to only have to carry a handfull of cds instead of a large case that begs to be stolen. Thanks!

not all CDR disks will play in car players. Get a new brand like imation or sony and make sure it plays in your computer drive before trying it in your car.

Ok I burned another disk and it plays fine on my comp but no luck in my car. So I'm gonna try this again on another disk and see what happens. If this doesn't work I'm gonna look for Roxio Platinum I think it will make MP3 CD without any problems.

Defintely play around with brands of CD-R Media. What part of town do you live in? I've got some MP3's burned onto Imation CD's that play fine with my Aiwa player in my SuperCrew.

Download Nero. I've made CD's for my neighbor's 03 GT for his MP3 player, and it's been fine, using a wide variety of cheap cd-r's. Primarily Memorex white faced CD-R's.

Also, how are you burning the CD's? Are you doing a data CD or audio? For what you're wanting, you have to make a data CD. If you're trying to do an audio CD, and then overloading it with mp3's (more than 80min of music), it'll make the disc unreadable.

I'm using those same white faced memorex cd-r's and I'm writing them as data cds, just won't play in my car. Looks like I'll try to find that nero program tonite. Thanks!

hey instead of choosing a audio cd choose a data cd. and still put songs on it....this will burn them leaving them in MP3 format instead of it converting to wma. file. Anyways try that it should work, aslo tha way you should fit like 200 songs on a CD so you willl know before you burn it if it is working.
