I have a HP computer and have had to reformat it a numbe of times before (the periles of Kaza?) and I have always gotten it back up and running before - However this time - I have a problem with the computer setting up after a quick format and everything is fine - then go put some hardware on (all of which is not new and was on the old config') and it works fine - but then reboot it and it no longer recognises one of my DVD drives - I have reconfirgued this thin all day and reformated a number of times and have "seen it and used the dvd drive" in some configs at some point but then it dissappears as being a part of the system .... what gives? Anyone got some ideas?
