:eek: I blew the 4 speed muncie in my 72 Nova this past weekend and I'm puttig a Turbo 350 in place! The car has went a best of 8.50@86 on street tire's, I am not a very good at taking off,I had like a 2.18 60ft if that says anything! The car made like 302 hp and 360 trq, Can I expect to see some better times and mph? It's gonna have a big stall in it too, around 3500!

What's that mean? Is that the piece that blew out of it?:eek: If do could you please return it. Or are you telling me that I just created a new boat anchore?

I have a TH-350 in my T/A. It has a 462ci engine and a 3400 stall with 4.10 gears. With slicks i've managed a 1.62 short time on a basically stock 34 year old leaf spring rear suspension with worn out air shocks and OEM dry-rotted chassis rubber.

You need to get rid of the street tires (what's the point?) and put on some slicks or drag radials for the strip and you should see much better short times.

Install a line lock so that you can get a good burnout before your runs.
