cobra vs. gt

I currently have a stock 01 cobra and might have to trade it for an 03 GT. what would i have to do to the GT to make it as fast as my cobra? What are the good and downsides of the 03 GT?

atleast parts for gt's are cheaper.

you can do ported heads, regrind cams, and longtubes, and be making 300 to the wheels. Throw some spray on there, and makee 400, done and done.

you will need a good intake for 300
