Who was in a C5 off 175 Saturday?

We where in big D taking my wife's LX to Slims performance
for a new clutch. on the way back I see a silver C5 waiting
on me on the service road (175) so I pull up in second gear and
his girl is looking over and smiling. The nose on the C5 goes
up and I join him the cobra jumps and when I hit third he
was a car behind and already let out. No what the hell
I figure he was not serious or something. I had four people
in my car and a 3/4 tank of fuel. He should have spanked
my ass. Maybe he needed the driver mod. I KNOW those
cars are way faster than that.

Even if you didn't have anyone in your car, i'm for sure he would have fetched you, and easily pulled lengths on you.:p

This is true.............so why didn't he. Maybe he was just
building on my self image. Anytime I race someone with there
girl I figure its full on because no one wants to be smacked
down in front of there lady. Oh I bet she freaked and made
him let out..........I have seen that too "Slow down are you
trying to kill us" now wanting alittle nookie later he stomped
the brakes. Thats the only explanation I can think of.

I was meaning if I was a C5 owner, that's how I would refer to them. Sorry if I didn't make any sense, but I never really meant to call your cobra slow. :p

lol I think he was just jacking with you anyways, I've realy never seen a c5 race except once at caddo mills it ran like a 9.3 spinning with like a 2.2 60ft.

I ran the 1/4 mile once...and guess what i had to run against? Yep..I still have the slip here with me. I dunno what happened, but I think it shoulda done better than this.
