fucking with me.:mad: Everytime I'm in my truck this asshole wants to race. Last night he paced me for a 1/4 mile throwing revs. But when I say let me get my car and lets do this. He saids NO thats ok I got to get home (he's a PU$$Y). I'm in my car a few weeks ago coming home from work I see his ass so I line up he acts like he doesn't see me so I pull away hoping he would give chase. He does nothing. He is a fucking punk. What is he scared of my car is slow.

His car: 98GT- Stock motor, exhaust

My car: 88LX- E-cam, 1.7rr, off-road exhaust, Tremec 3550, 3.73's, mass air, bbk headers, & welds

I know I have more mods than him but shouldn't he still beat me in a race?

Yeah, I forgot about the weight. Now will I walk him pretty good are will it be a close race. I only raced one mustang (Bullit) from a roll to 4th I was ahead by a fender when he let out of it.

I've got a 98 GT with exhaust, and a MAC air filter...I'm sure i'm pushing 225 if even that.:( My car = all bark; no bite.
Also, It's an auto, and the best I can do is constant 9.5's in the 1/8. Oh well, I like it.:D

My '94 5.0 has about 170hp to the wheels and 280tq to the wheels. That's headers and h-pipe with cats. Bullits have shitty top end, I can take them from a roll. From a stop it is another story, until I start fetching.

You don't get out much, do you? Stop by HPP and talk to Manny or Ozzie, that shop is making great progress on the mod motors. We (mod motor guys) are still in the curve where we are just now getting the attention of the large manufactures, very much like in the early 90's for the 5.0. Fact is the 4.6 (99+) stock has much more power than a stock 5.0. When the aftermarket comes around I think there will be a different story.
I also think it's funny that the major competition for the little 281 is 342 ci, so it's no problem for me to understand why they are usually faster. Don't get me wrong, my last car was a 94 LT1 383.
I do miss it, but it stayed in the family.

ok guys my 98 gt stock put 175 at the wheels, now with o-r h rear section, ram air and ud pullies i put 200 at the wheels. My best times in the 1/8 are 9.0. My friend has a 90, with gears, headers, o/r h rearsection, ud pullies and cold air. He jumps me from the start, but when i hit second i pull him and pass him by third. But if that guy only has exhaust then you should beat him. Oh yeah i have nitrous now, got tired of being slow!!!

I slapped around a 94-95 5.0 with offroad H/Flows from a rolling start at about 15MPH in my stock WRX, which has 227HP or about 165awhp...

I haven't made it to the track yet. But I would say mid to high 8's would be a good guess. I would be happy with a 8.3 to 8.5 though

Tommy, sounds like the guy has an inferiority complex of sorts. He's kinda' payin' you a compliment in an abstract way. He pulls that stuff because you are competition. Refusing to run you, is his way of saying that you are superior, because you'd probably win. I'd just blow it off.

We raced twice I won both races. End of story he doesn't fuck with me anymore. You need to read part 2
