Just wanted to let everyone know that this Thursday is the big kick-off for the Horsepower Store sponsorship on Thursday Nights at Denton Dragway.

For those of you that don't know, The Horsepower Store is under new ownership and Russell wants to support the local street legal racing scene.

Every Thursday we will run a Street Legal Heads-Up class and a Street Legal Bracket Race. The winner of each class will receive a $25 gift certificate to HPS, a plaque, and a T-shirt. The runner-up will receive a plaque and a T-shirt.

Rules:
*Must have current tags
*Maximum tire width 12"
*No open headers (cut-outs ok)

We will also be bringing back the burnout contest as soon as the track construction is complete.

Gates open at 6:00pm
Time Trials from 7:00-10:30pm
Admission $10 race or watch

As always, there is no cost to enter the classes. Come out and help us kick the first Horsepower Store Thursday Night off right.

I don't see anything about trailers in the rules. Are cars that are brought in on trailers allowed??? Last time I asked the rules you guys said it didn't matter until I was in the final round. Then you booted me :)

I'll be there watching since the clutch is brand new but BJ has spoken for my slicks. I would almost rather see Chris' car with them to that beast run.

BJ, I will leave work directly at 5pm and go home, get car, air up tires and head that way. Should be there 6:45 to 7:00pm.

Taking the wife's car to work tomorrow for someone to look at it. It would be really cool if they buy it.........no payments = mod money!!!
