Alright can anyone tell me why GN's really suck ? There is a GN owner on another forum that I'm on that talks more shit than I know what to do with and I'm really tired of hearing it. So if anyone has any ideas of ways to shut him up and/or videos of GN's getting pounced on I'd appreciate it. I mean ya gotta feel bad for the kid... after all he drives a 1986 Buck Regal T-type, granted its fast, but he's a total dick.

The only that sucks about GN's is that there wasnt enough made of them and the parts are too damn expensive. A buddy of mine had one a few years back that would run 12:20's all day on street tires. Not alot of stangs can say that.

Do a search on this site for Ford vs. Buick Shootout or Noble Videos. I know that AL P, Andrew, and bsharer smacked some Buicks down at this years' shootout in Oklahoma!!

Well they don't suck, they are pretty good cars. There are a ton of them that just aren't that fast though...
I let this one get WAAAAAAYYY out there and still beat him...:)

Why do you think they suck? One of the best performance cars ever produced. Now the owners... that's a different story. Actually, I've seen more dickheads behind the wheel of Mustangs more than any other car, but I'll just leave it at that.
The worst thing about a buick is that you don't know how fast it is until you race it.

I know there are some fasts buicks out there, probably a lot actually.. I think i should have phrased my question differently.
GN's are pretty cool but this kid is a total chode so I need to get him. He absolutely hates mustangs and hates seeing ANYTHING faster than his precious turbo Buick. .....
Oh and He's from New Jersey.

Dude,don't let it get to you.Smack talking to have some fun is one thing,but being obnoxious is another.Let him talk his stuff and set him up to get smacked down.I have a GN tha runs 7.50s in the 1/8 on93 and 16# of boost.Race gas and more boost is even better.I'm not trying to talk smack,my car isn't near as fast as some of the stangs on this board but it is respectable for 3750# with me in it.Send that guy my way and let me smack him down for you.I have a 85GT with a 351 and a 200 shot soon to be done too.The bottle will be hidden under the dash,he will never know what hit him.I really don't think any fast car can suck,just the ones that are owned by idiots who have no idea how slow theirs is.Do you know what he has done to his car? If so,I might be able to help you determine what it will take for YOU to smack him down.The best way would be to sucker him into racing a guy with a ridiculously fast stock looking car and tell him he got beat by a stocker.

if you go to www.ermca.com and check out some of the threads you'll see, his screename is wht87T. Actually the smack talk that goes on on our forum is incredible sometimes its mostly just BS, but everyonce in a while people can get nasty. His car is fast as hell it is into the low 11's but that is on his track setup, on the street he'd be lucky to pull mid 12's. Not that that isn't fast, but there are plenty of cars around him that would make no nevermind of him, but he doesn't even care and talks smack to the owners of those cars. Oh yeah and he HATES mustangs and their drivers. I figure thats fine because I wouldn't him to be a mustang driver anyways - makes us look bad. :D
There are some pretty sweet cars around here, a couple of 396 camaros,a 347 Mustang etc. and a guy I know is putting together a turbo saturn believe it or not that should be able to at least give him a run for his money. (about 350-400 h.p. ina 2600lb. body) you do the math. I can't wait to get back home and away from all these damn yankees though.

The one thing he has to understand is that mustangs and turbo buicks go together.They are both awesome in their own right.That's why I own one of each.He shouldn't hate mustang drivers because they are probably the best competition,I.E. you never know what you'll get with some stangs either.You have guys here on this board running some great times mostly stock and some that are modified that are really slow.The same goes for the buicks.It's the old west shootout every time the two meet.I have met many a stanger that has just as bad an attitude,with slow cars no less.Depends on the dude behind the wheel.Buick guys are kind of cocky too and snotty sometimes also.Cool cars in your area,where exactly are you.I have a GN that runs 7.50 1/8 times in street trim which comes out to around 11.70s 1/4 wise.I would really like to run into this character sometime in race trim which should be in the high 6s 1/8,high 10s 1/4 when I get the guts to turn the boost up on some 116.I haven't tried it yet,so we'll see if it has the sack to pull it off soon.That saturn sounds like it will be mean,I plan on building a chevy luv with GN drivetrain after my GT is complete for the same reason,light weight and high power.I had a turbo civic stay right with me in street trim,till I hit third;) .
