LOL Chris (DRS) helped me out with putting on my struts and shocks Thurs last week. He noticed when he took off the driver's caliper that it was locked and dragging on the rotor. (I was on the pass. side and Kyle was working on the shocks) When Chris tried to pull it off he said "here's your E.T. drag"!

So we were able to press the pistons back in and got everything switched out but, I noticed that I had about micron of material left! So anyway went to the track Fri, good runs same mph and everything.

Anyhoo. Sat, I bought some pads and proceeded to change the old ones out. But the stupid bottom sliding pins was the problem, not the pistons. I couldn't slide it back to make room for the new pad thickness. It was hopless, the thing was locked. So I drove out to Regal Perf. in Rowlett and got a new one out of their junkyard. Fixed it and it was all good. Then I go to do the driver's side and it was locked (It wasn't last thursday) so now I have to go back out to Regal and get another caliper ($40 bucks a pop) LOL maybe I can run my 7.20 now!?

Note: Loud exhausts hide many noises

With those calipers you probably didn't need a line lock! LOL!

Hey Chris-

The passenger side rotor (inside) is two different surfaces! I'm gonna have to see if it can be turned this weekend. I mean I had to pry the caliper off the stupid thing. It's all good now and man I hope it's not just a placebo effect but, the car feels like it's more responsive. Maybe because some two piston monster calipers aren't grabbing like Al P on Leon's butt?

Heck I probably picked up 1mph.
