By a Mustang last night at K-dale.
Me Lane and Mike went to KOTH last night. I heard that a guy and his friend were kinda making comments about my car, saying "the wheels must be for show" (Pro-stars) so I asked him to race.
He ran a 7.15@95 w/ 1.58 60' vs my 7.33@92 w/ 1.60 60'
So after the race i asked him what size shot he's running and cam because I heard it (he swore it didn't have a cam). He then asked me what size shot I was running(125 it turns out). I said none and he didn't believe me. He and his friend were saying that it must not be a 350 then. I said "you're right, It's a 346" so they proceeded to look all over the car for a bottle because "LS1s don't run that strong N/A, they're only good for 8.60s" So Mike jumped in and the smack talking began. LOL it was a good night.
At least my car runs the same times and mph even with the smaller exhaust. I need more practice to get the suspension dialed in on the best settings.
The car was a silver fox coupe from Midlothian.

Nice run Monsoon. 6's probably aren't that far off. I really wanted to get down there last night, but it was cold and an hour and a half away. When you gonna go to Denton? Bring those K-Dale people up so we can have some real fun.

Well they are better than stock but not by much. They pretty much suck...

Yea they are a little better than stock, or GT-40s or TW, IMO etc etc...

I was right behind them staging and saw the run. The Mustang left hard and surprised me quite a bit... Nice little sleeper.
I want a piece of that car Next Friday. Anyone know how to get ahold of him????
He kept trying to race me (I did have the car out there but i was in full street trim) but i told him i didnt want him to take his bottle out that i WANTED him to use it. So i tried to setup a race for me and him on the street or track next weekend...SET IT UP.
How much does he want to lose???

I'll talk to him. He works the graveyard shift , so he doesn't get to come out much. If he is going to race sometime this week i'll pm you.

Sorry....I forgot to tell you. He works all weekend so he isn't going out Friday....but he is going out to K-dale on Thursday night.

Nice to know we can trust one of the homeboys to turn into a regular Judas and spill his guts on a fellow ride... maybe it's just the fact that ol "pitbull" or shouldn't that be "poodle"(they both start with p, I can understand the mistake) is a little upset because his ride is a "running limpdick," o wait it has to be running first... lol better run it into lonestar to get it fixed buddy... and who you calling an asshole tubby?;)

Mike Hey there little lane I see you are all fired up about the other night at KOTH. I've just got a little question for ya? How is it that you are so hyped up about running my boy's stang that took out your buddy monsoon's TA? Especially considering you wouldn't even ablige me when I called you out in my 94 Z28 running muffler/tips and street radials??:confused: I guess we all live on hopes and dreams at one point or another in life. Reality is a bitch... gotta get in where ya fit in!;)
