I finally caught a fish!

I raced a Black ~'92 GT w/ meats and skinnies and a louvered cowl hood on US 80 outside of Forney this morning around 6:30am. I passed him slowly and he took the bait. I went ahead and gave him the jump to start the race. Through a gear and a half I had about 3-4 cars on him. After the race, I gave him a thumbs up and he gave me the "You're spraying!" hand signal, lol.

I went and looked at that car the other day, and I can't figure out why it is so cheap!! It's a 2000 Z28 with grey leather, 6 Speed, t-tops, etc. Looks to be fully loaded. I think it had ~45k miles? I looked underneath it, and it looks like it has headers, off road y-pipe, muffler, and some ghetto chrome tips. Probably has some other mods too since it still had that on there, but I didn't get a chance to look under the hood. For $9k I don't think you could go wrong with that car!

Yea it was distributed by Universal, I asked my mother where she got it. She had gotten it for my last birthday and she said she actually got it at Walmart. And I just love to hear that TA screaming around corners in surround :D

Yea it was low 8's. Could be alot better with et streets and suspension mods. 420 hp is right around the corner as well. I still have stock gears though. You 305 hp should be pretty damm fast!!!

Low 8's in the 1/8th with a blower? I would be pissed. My 90 GT with stock suspension ran 8.17 on E/T Streets with a 1.62 60' on a little 306 with bolt-ons. No stroker just minor bolt-ons. Have never lost to a Camaro or T/A. If it had cam and/or heads I sprayed 100 shot and still walked them with 4:10 gearing. DAM LS1'S!

I was running street tries and had no traction. Can you read>>>>>>>>>>? With ET STREETS like you ran...., I will be in the seven's with the good driver mod. With stock gears it is also taking me 100 feet to get into boost. I ran a cobra 01 with the same setup as mine and we were pretty even till the end when I puled him. I really need to get this thing on the 1/4 mile track. It really opens up once I get rolling.
