Can anyone suggest a good machine shop in the northeast Dallas area to get machine work (block bored, etc..). I want good and inexpensive. Usually those two don't go together.

Watt from performance auto supply in Mesquite, is out here at MMT now. Our in house machine shop should be completely operational by the end of the month.

I took my 455 to Comp. Speed and Machine of Plano. He is into Pontiacs so you may want to give them a try. They are fair on price. My second choice would be Kim Barr Racing Engines.

Chad - Who did you work with (Mickey?) Most automotive machine shops can't even spell pontiac any more, much less having done any machine work on one in the last 10 years. Do they have torque plates for a pontiac?

Yeah, it was Mickey. They do have a torque plate for pontiac as well. Mickey is into Pontiacs. I saw a Pontiac Southern Nationals hat in his office.:D
