I was watching the news the other night and they were showing the people protesting the war in Chicago. These people were preaching about "peace", but had to have the police come with riot gear because the protestors were getting out of hand. They had to use mace and billy clubs to try and breakup these people. Many people were arressted and some people were injured. After the police were done the streets were finally brought back to peace and order. The point to this observation is that even if people would like to see a non-violent peaceful resolution sometimes you have to us force to regain/create peace.

and my friend Specialist Robert Casey Kelley/ Special Forces Field Medic.
The police chose what gear/force to use. If you had said anything at all about violence being used by the "peace" protestors, then that would be ironic. Police often use mace/clubs/arrests to dissuade protestors. Sometimes it is justified, and sometimes it is not.
I did a search and couldn't find any news of any violence on the part of these protestors. I agree that using violence to make statements about peace would seriously dilute the argument, but I just don't see it in this case.
Do a search for "Kent State Shooting". I don't think that the fact that the National Guard used bullets means that the protesters were violent. In fact, the opposite was true.
If you are trying to make the point that consistency is important, then I will have to agree. But I think that applies to criticism of both sides of the argument.

protestors only bitch about world issues, but they never seem to
have a resolution.
If they want to shame our troops for protecting thier freedom from a cruel tyrant dictator who kills people at random including his own family, and has a undisclosed amount of nuclear bio/chemical weapon. They can go to hell!!! They basically are supporting terrorism.

I suggest you remove your head from the proverbial sand. Here's a sign for you, and an article, from today alone, to make you think:

Police Find Molotov Cocktail Materials on Market St.
Bay City News
Friday's discovery of Molotov-cocktail making materials likely belonging to anti-war protesters has prompted a joint investigation by local and federal authorities, a San Francisco police department spokesman said.

And before you try to reference Kent St, reference the fact that MANY of those protesters now admit they provoked the police forces into attacking, and left them with no choice, given the size of the protester's angry mob.

How can these people get out there and protest against the very people who are protecting their freedom of speech. I know that has been said over and over again, but I just get so angry! If they dont like the policies set by the government, maybe they should live somewhere else! I dont want those kind of people living next door to me or my son. Maybe they should try being an Iraqi for a day and see how they like opression instead?!?!?!? Or, maybe they should take a dose of some of those chemicals our troops are trying to prevent from getting in the environment?!?!?! They should shut the hell up or move to another country.
