If anyone has been watching all these news casting on tv the past couple of days, check this out.

Does anyone remember that when the news said that when the Iraq's launched those 2 scud's or whatever they where, and we shot one down, and the other feel apart in mid-air, well my friends, thats a lie, the second one hit a group of marines at the border of Kuwait, the reason that I know this is because one of my friends brothers was one of the ones who was in that group that got hit, he died in all of that mess.

I could understand that our country is trying to kep the moral up, but we need to know the truth. :(

I don't remember them saying one just fell apart. Are you talking about the one they were saying landed harmlessly just past the troops?

naw, they said that it blew up in mid air, or fell apart or something like that.

they did that in Desert Storm too... I'm not convinced that they've EVER intercepted a Scud with a Patriot. :(

Antecdotal commentary, while great for mental masturbation, is not much more than, well, antecdotal commentary. Yes, I tend to believe the video of the SCUD being shot down. I also believe that, if your claim was the case vice FOX/CBS/ABC/PMSNBC/CNN/BBC/Reuters/Al JaZEERA ET AL, that Al Jazeera would have been ALL OVER IT. They aren't exactly known for spinning to help the states out. Foreign press would be SALIVATING over that kind of story.

well the thing is on the patriots or whatevre there called, lockeed martin in grand praire made a new scud buster for this was, but the top dogs said that the missle will only be like 60% effective on interseptiing the scuds, i think that its all fake

You think it is all fake because......? Link? Source?
Furthermore, when you fire Patriot-3,s you fire them in triplicate, I THINK, so based on that, and hte number of scud's brought down, 60% is an accurate number.
