They probably are happy that they are about to freed from an opressive jackass of a leader, problem is, they have been oppressed for so long, they probably dont know how to show emotions like joy and happiness. Sounds like they need a whole lotta God in their lives.

all the war protestors need to sit down with those people and ask them if it is worth it. I guarantee they will say say "Hell Yeah"

I guarantee that they enjoy this. I mean, I bet that they are scared that the war is in their country, but I bet it feels great knowing that they are about to be released from Hussein.
