I'm driving to my girlfriends house tonight and I notice a Cobra following me. I make a right turn and notice he cuts over 2 lanes to make the same right I made. When I get to my next turn he does the same thing and starts honking at me. When I hit the red light at the street going into my girlfriends neighborhood he pulls up next to me and asks me why I keep turning. Not that its any of his damn business I say, because I am going to my girlfriends house. I was hoping this would have cleared it up, but as soon as the light turns green I make a left turn into her neighborhood and see him bust over 2 lanes to make the same turn I make. By this time I'm like what the fuck does he want. He slows down to make space in between our cars like he's not following me, but I can still see his headlights behind me everytime I turn. I don't want his psycho ass to know where my girlfriend lives so I start hauling as as I come around a turn and lose him in the neighborhood. Are some people just that fucking retarded that they will practically follow you home to try and race you?

Bad aero-dynamics with the top down?? For some reason i never get people trying to race me its always me revving up at others to race....well i know of one black 5.9L dodge dakota that got a piece on the highway that slowed down and revved at me!! :rolleyes:

Yeah, very bad aerodynamics with the top down. Ever since I put on my h-pipe i have all sorts of people trying to race me. It gets annoying when you have stock F150's jumping at you at stop lights. WTF? which takes us back to the original topic, some people are freaking retarded.

Maybe I'm paranoid, but I don't let anyone follow me, ever. If I see someone behind me, I'll drive around in circles to make sure they're not behind me. Something that blatant and I'd definitely have to lose them. There's a fire station near our house, and I told my wife that if she's ever followed to just pull in there as a deterrent to being followed. There are some crazy people in the world, unfortunately.

that sucks man... I always check to make sure no one is tailing me because I've had it happen as well. As far as the top down aerodynamics... just to prove a point, My car tops out at 130ish with the top down. I took it to 15x mph with the top up and she was still pulling.

You avoided 2 stop lights with perfect straightaways because you knew you would lose.
