Yes this will be number 4. The first one didnt blow though. I just wanted to step up to a forged bottom and have had no luck.
I'm Pulling the motor out now. Damn longtubes are a BITCH. Everything is disconnected, i just cant lift it out the Longtubes on. I'll pull those off tomorrow morning so i can return this cherry picker.
Coolant was clean and oil was clean but when i opened the oil filter up there were some metal shavings. :mad: Tomorrow morning when i get it out i'll drop the oil pan.

pulling the motor with the long tubes is a bitch, but it can be done. when we pulled ubil's motor, we pulled it with the long tubes and tranny still connected. it was a bitch though. i would probably take your route. any plans for the new motor?

Well, we got it out just pulling the passinger side long tube. After taking it apart there's nothing major sticking out at me. One off my followers on one of the heads fell off but the crank, rods, and pistons look good so far. If im lucky it'll just be some bent valves.
Plans: I'm probally going to send it to Keith Craft to inspect and rebuilt if needed. Greg

Getting it back?? Its setting in my garage with the engine over here, the tranny over there, the drive shaft back there....ect.
I dont have money to just throw around right now and i dont have parents to help.
I'm going to be down for about 2 months. I'm doing a few things for more power, not just fixing some valves and followers.
From the looks of it, if you only have 300hp with a supercharger, i'll be beating you on motor! Just keep calling me out. You dont even know how to handle 300hp.
Im not stangtammer, i will have my junk on the road in a couple months.

i never directly called out Whyteboi. it is just kinda understood that when my junk is sorted out, i will be there to engage in a contest of speed. stop, roll, highway... i don't care. brake-boosting and a 2 step will cure any issues i may have.

nah, i blew the blockers rings up on a powershift. i have to double clutch 3rd gear now on all shifts. not useful at all when racing.
