How come no kill stories lately? I haven't driven my cobra in 3 weeks, maybe have it done tonight. I have been reading old kill stories here and on other boards. I have even sunk as low as reading about Honda beating up on Toyotas. :(

With the snow leaving, anyone seeing any action?

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang .... I guess they are getting more and more serious :( That sux...I guess everytime you gun it, your taking a risk, whether its racing or not. I usually do most of my tuning on the hwy...dyno's are expensive by the hour :(. I need to find some place out in the sticks eheh

I cam upon a black 99 - 00 GT today, had an SVT sticker on the back and Cobra emblems on the side but had the GT front and rear bumpers going southbound 360. I just got my car out of the body shop this morning so I was looking for something. He pulled along side me I gave a rev. He then sped up through traffic and I managed to hook up with him later on down the road. First time I pulled him by about a car up to about 5000 rpms in 3rd. He came back for seconds, and I proceeded to let him get a half car on me, then I got half a car on him through 3rd and once I hit 4th I instantly put another car to car and a half on him. Man needed that after my car being in the shop for 3 weeks.

The '99s have 'Mustang' bumpers, silver headlights, round fog lights, reverse slope hood like the '03 ponies.

thanks - I wish, I may be able to hang with a 99 or 01 Cobra, but I don't think I would be able to put 2 cars on it. I don't have that kind of power yet out of my 02 GT.

I could mention the convertable 01 vette I pulled a few weeks back, but then I will have all these ls1 peeps screaming "I will run you, yea he couldn't drive, it's an auto vette etc etc". My Cobra is slow!

I just plain BEAT YOU!:p ;) Actually I was scared to race you cause I have a Cobra and I know how fast they are, so you can imagine my suprise when I started pulling away. But a SVT beating another SVT is ok in my book, could have been worse you could have got smacked around by MonsoonX and he would have NEVER let you live it down...:rolleyes:
