DFWstangs Fun-n-Grudge IX Friday Mar. 7th!!! Top 20 guys get in here!!

Alright it's that time again!! Everyone is wanting to see these guys in the "Top 20 Fastest list" run. So, lets see some hardcore racing!!! Lets set up some best of three match races. Who would you like to see in a match race? I myself would like to see Al P vs Bsharer. That has been a long time rival. Though I'm not sure if there cars are running at the moment. If they are, are you guys up for it? Maybe Andrew vs Manny? I think Andrews car should be up soon.

Man there could be some good match races lined up. Dragradialstang vs Goldstang2000 couldn't be any closer!! You two guys have to line up!! What do you say?



We could line up #1 vs #2, #3 vs #4, ect. and makes some good races. So if you're running and willing let us know. This is what you built the car for right?:D

We can always count on you. Pontiac guys are always up for some racing. Maybe Slow 77 will make it out with his T/A. I would love to see it run and his new paint job.

It will be held at the track in Denton/Sanger off of I35. We'd like very much to see all you guys there. Bring them out.

Sweet, just pick someone from the top 20 that would make a good match race (if any) and call them out. Thanks for stepping up. We don't seem to have many people here with fast cars that are willing to step up.:rolleyes:

I would love to, but my car is on the IR list.:( I will take a rain check and promise you a race though.:) My heads are in the shop and won't be done for another 3-4 weeks.

i would also be up for the challenge to do some test runs but the new car wont be ready till the end of the month hopefully should have some new times to take over the #1 spot shooting for 7.80 to 8.0s

Yeah that would be sweet!! Maybe you could call out Kilgore and you two have a best of 3 match race for the #1 position. I haven't ever seen your car or Kilgores car run. But that would help get alot of guys out to watch. So, maybe the next Fun-n-Grudge you two could line up.

stang tamer i wouldnt mind doing a exhibition runs not a problem i dont think kilgore has his car anymore i dont really know if he has sold the car and is building a new one or what but i will keep my eye out for the next fun n grudge race as long as it doesnt interfere with the racing schedule im their also i will hopefully be at the first clash of the titans race and the nmra race that is coming to dallas

Wheeewww. You guys had me worried for a minute. I thought maybe you had all given up on racing. :D

Anyway, don't forget that we will be giving a free tech card to everyone that can present their DFWStangs I.D. card at the gate, so get them printed and ready to show us.

Also, here is the deal. From now on, at every DFWStangs gtg, we will give a $20 gift certificate to the winner of every "Best of 3" match race between members of the Top 10 members of the Fastest List. For instance if #5 challenges #2, the winner of the match race would get a $20 gift certificate. We will do the same thing for the #11-#20 guys on the fastest List. The winner of those races will receive a $10 gift certificate.

All you bad boys on the Fastest List, now you have a reason to dust off those rides, clean out the cobwebs, and get it to the track.

Anybody who wants to call someone out and make a Fastest List Match Race and be eligible for the gift certificates must come to the tower on Friday, March 7th and give me the names of the racers, screennames, and car types.

I will be trying to make as many apperances at the tracks as possible. I love to race. It is addicting as hell!! Any time you want to run let me know. You can't miss my car, it is a White WS6 with blue lightning bolts on the hood. Also have blue wheels in front.:)

Yeah, you can bring your Chevy out there.
1. Go north on I-35 towards Denton.
2. It will split as you get to Denton and UNT. You will need to go north towards Oklahoma. It is a few miles up on the left next to an old salvage yard. I don't know the exit number. Just look for the tire smoke.:D

Exit Cowling or Milan rd. Either exit will take you there. It will make you do a u-turn to the entrance of the track. I believe the track opens at 7:00pm

we will be bringing out the cobra for some tuning. We will be working on the tune and trying to get the rear to bite a little harder. We are open for races but they will need to be on a pro tree, that is all I really care to run. I want as much practice as possible for our class and that is how they run it.
We still have some bugs to work out but it should be running pretty descent.
