Weight plays a key factor in winning races, so I think you should take off your fenders and all their support beams, the hood, doors, decklid, all the interior, and just sit on a plastic bucket. Then it will weigh about the same as YoBro's 'Vette. The "driver mod" also plays a key factor in winning races. It's gonna take some practice to get your car to hook, since you won't be used to going from 150rwhp to 210rwhp. It will take some time, but you should be able to do it. 150 to 210???? I've got about 240 right now flywheel which by 20% driveline loss (which I've heard many times is the formula) is 192 rwhp[even if I go to stock (215), it's still 172]; after the blower and dyno tune, DM thinks I'll be at about 350, which by the same formula is 280 rwhp

In that case you will still be getting smoked by LS1's with your supercharger.

how, they only have 325 at the flywheel and I should have at least 350 and I have a better rear end, plus they weigh more if I'm not mistaken. :confused: :confused: Plus I only lost to a 345hp Trans Am by four cars in my old stock 96.. (OK it had SVO side exhaust and wheels)

Only most LS1's put down 300 to the wheels. Weight is not much diff. My point is..... With all the stuff your putting in your car you should have more than 300 to the wheels.
You cant just put a supercharger on. All other additives should have you more than 300rwhp.
On a 96-98 GT you should have done a head swap first.
I'm just wondering whats going to go first.... the bottom end, rear-end, clutch, I will post about it when you go BOOM! Like you did me. :cool:

just cause you go boom doesnt mean your pushing alot of power, that 4.6 engine is a weak bitch!! and it will go boom!
trey i would worry about a certifacte(sp) i have a copier want me to print you one? cause it doesnt make the car worth a penny more you might ass well wipe your ass with it!!
your cars isnt rare or limited production, theres a reason no one else has a boss in texas its a rip off!!! and not rare!!

It should be stout after the supercharger and tune. I'm not saying you'll go boom within a month, but nobody can lay off the petal with a power adder come on. I'm just saying your car isn't maid for it and will go boom soon enough. I would have built differently. JMO
Good drivers can take a bolt on P.I. car with built rearend and slicks and beat many 300hp+ cars.
I know when i get my shit fixed, i'll be gental for about 500 miles. After that its on again.

Boss you have been mistaken about my car. You have about 1/2 the power I have. It wouldnt be a fair race between us, my best dyno is 488/507 to the wheels and I trap 125mph+ in the 1/4. We can still race for grins when you get your blower.

After that its on again. 5-10 years hopefully includes everything I want to do including six-speed, built engine with head swap, and more boost, I'm hoping to be completely finished by then so I can start saving for exotics. I know I'm going to get on it, I just hope it will hold together till I can pay for all the shit that breaks on it.
