Who said it would run 7.80's?? I dont even know you.... I have 4:10 gears..It actually cut a better 60ft. on motor with slicks, Back in November i ran 8.80 on motor with a 1.78 60 ft, only mods were exhaust and gears, mega-bite jr's

I'm not bustin on you guy.Remember when you posted asking what it would run a while back. These guys said it would run 7.80s.I said it could happen with practice but it wasn't going to be easy like they made it sound. You actually have probably better than 7.80s with a really low 60'.The nitrous is just too much for those 4.10s.Would probably leave better with less rear gear.BTW 8.20s is enough to whip alot of ass on some of the "race cars" I see at redline.Nothing to laugh at for a mostly stock stang.

Damn i forgot about that post! Hopefully it will go 7.80's with slicks, I'm actually thinking of going with a smaller gear. Maybe if the weathers nice I'll take her back out next weekend, need to locate some slicks ang get my subframes welded on.

What size rear tires are you running?I had to go from 26x10.50x15s to 28x11.50x15s just to cut down wheelspin.I still have a sucky best 60' of 1.91.I usually spin to about 100' out still if I leave on too much boost. And thats in a 3700# car with only 3.42s.Pretty much the same effect as your nitrous in first gear.Lucky for you,you have the option of leaving in second, mine is an auto. But,really the taller tires did help 60's were in the mid 2s.

As of now 275/40/17 Nitto drags...On the 8.21 pass they hooked off the line, but spun in 3rd.

Definitely too much gear.Don't spray on the highway if it gets loose like that at the track.Spinning the tires at 70 mph may sound cool, but its really scary.I switched to et streets just for that reason.I would punch it on the highway and the boost would just blow the radials off at 70mph.With radials it can be a death trap.Be careful on the streets with that thing;) .

Hey need to practice on not red lighting when racing faster car(blue 86). try to beat them on the tree. By the way 7.80s would probably be harder to get than just using slicks, especially with out susp. if your already cutting 1.89s on dr's. 85 is not a high trap speed for 7's especially if you say your spinning in third.

I have hpm jrs and subframes and koni adj. and 4 cyl springs all the way around with axles and diff. can't seem to get better than low 1.6s on 27x11x15 hoosier qtp's leaving line around 3500 on spray almost every time with tire spin. still need uppers and to loose about 350 lbs. car is still full interior with a/c and power steering. If your wanting high 7's your about 4-5 mph off. what mods do you have?

You need to look at tuning. That thing should go well into the 7's around 88-90mph. Who did your work. I've put together with similar combos with 100 shots that have gone 7.6s to 7.9s. depending on driver. Yours should easily go 7.9s on drs. Can you drive (powershift)? not including getting off the tree clean j/k :D

:D NO bryan he he he he. where are all those greenville bitches you told me about that were suppose to come to the track Sun. I was looking forward to stomping some ls1s. BYC your car should definetly be faster. Dont be scared of that t-5, the only diff. is the input shaft. they are almost if not as strong as a stock t-5.
