Well I'm too ashamed to say what I ran, but saw some badass mustangs, including a hpperformance cobra white with blue flames that was beautiful and was running low to mid 6's at 100+mph. Saw STROKD and a few others. what was everyone running? The track seemed to be hooking pretty good from what I saw and the weather was beautiful. BTW I was in the slow ass blue civic

Hey man, I didn't see you, but Rob/Brian said that they did...
I ran two 8.0s @ 99, and two 8.17s @ 98... The track went away towards the end of the afternoon. My last two passes I was spinning through the traps sideways... pedaling it:eek:

Thats the one... last pass i saw it make was a 6.66 @~107mph.... did you have that black gt hatch? I think I saw you make a couple passes. Whose light blue 4eye hatch was that with the hood off sitting in the first stagging lane all day?

Yep. I had a hard time on those new Hoosiers. I red lighted a few times.
I saw that 'Stang run a 6.3 @ 118.
Curious, isn't that exactly what Andrew ran?
The pic is me and my GT in the waiting lanes.

it looked like you had way too much PSI in those slicks......I am the guy that works the starting line at the track, so I have just about seen it all LOL. Try less PSI next time, or borrow my E.T. Drags, and you will hook!

Oh, that's you! So that explains it! Yeah, I was thinking about that earlier today, also. I had 18 PSI, I should have had it down to 12. Oh well, I'll fix it next time.

you have tubes in those correct? if so, screw the slick to the rims, and lower it to like 9-10psi

No tubes. Since they didn't require them, I didn't use them.
I may for my next set of slicks, though.
Hell, I may take you up on your offer on the ET's.
(Next time I go)

those looked like straight up drag slicks, my firestones came with tubes......but yeah screwing them in helps a lot, if you are making a lot of power/using low PSI. they look pretty tall too, which hurts your effective gear ratio, depending on your rear gears.

They are a bit tall, But I can't complain, I paid $70 for them, new.
they are 27x10x15's
I was thinking of switching my rear end gears out for some 4.10's as I have 3.08's now.
