Anyone go or been to the Yellow Belly dragstrip? I haven't, just heard someone talking about it, saying it was redone or something? How is it? What's it cost, days of the week, hours, etc.......... It's supposedly close my house on Jefferson but I've never seen it.......

they race only on sundays...weather permitting of course
8 bucks to get in ...6 to race
race from 1pm to about 6:30 PM
some people take forever to line up.some people smoke weed.other than that it is a fun place to go watch some races at.we usually go there every sunday.

The last time I went they tried to charge me $25 to enter plus another $10 run. I said WTF?!?! I was there the week before and only paid $18 to get in and run. She said it was new rules.

I doubt that, I think she tried to pocket some change

Holy shit! I'll watch out for that Bitch when I go. I also heard that there is a lot of betting going on there.....Betting+Tokin+sounds Ghetto...... Anyway, thanks for the responses. I'll probably go pretty soon to race my slow ass car and see how it is.

Any other posts (or warnings, ha-ha) would be appreciated.................

If get there between 1-3 you'll get to run alot. After that it gets crowded and takes forever. It's got a tree and timeslips, so it's not all that bad.

its not half as bad as people make it out to be. yes there is betting and even some toking it up out there. but other than the toking..... betting is a part of every track I know of. It isnt half as rough as people make it sound. There are some very fast cars and trucks, and some super slow ones as well. The track could be a little smoother but I have no problem running my car or bike out there. Price is 8 bucks to get in, plus another 6 to race all you want. I would suggest you give it a try.

its not all that bad you just need to remember there isn't much room to stop and the lanes merge into one at the end (thats where most crashes happen) theres no rules either you can have a 6sec car and have a passenger riding with you....you can wear shorts, cut off shirts, wear no helmet, so forget the rules:D :D

My shit's probably too slow to wear a helmet anyway :D Unless I fill that cute little purple bottle up  I'll be sure to watch out for that merge at the end.... I hate rude ass racer's who cut you off from the outside at the turn-around
