I have been building an 84 Mustang that would make DRS's yellow coupe look like Ms America:) She's FUGLY. I wanted to build a heads/cammed 351. The bottom end is stock, the pistons were flycut for the cam, but other than that....stock. Heads are ported TW, they flow around 300@.500. The cam is an old one I had in a 347 a few years ago. It's a 232,242,544,560 on a 108 hyd roller. CR is about 9.5:1. The car is loud as hell, but has no bucking or ill street manners. I have only taken the car down the road twice, first and second gears are useless at just half throttle:) I don't remember the 347 running this hard even when it was tuned in, it ran mid 7's:)

Be on the look out for a HOS at a track near you:)

It is going to be out real soon looking for the HOS! Lets just say the junkyard dog is looking for low 6's on a 3k budget!

Yep, it's a 351.


I'll see if I can't get some pics of it this w/e. Some of the old time racers will remember the car. Back in the day, it made some good power..300rwhp with Edel heads, E cam, Cobra intake on a stock 302.

It's my brother's car. He has ZERO interest in it....I mean none. He just looks at it while I work on it. I just tell him what to buy and he does.

Saw some headgaskets the other night...not too shabby. ARe you going to get the block 0-ringed and run some coppers?

No, I ordered some Cometic gaskets. They are some kind of triple spring steel. They can make them up to .120" thick so they should lower the compression some. It's what Reher Morrison uses on pro stock motors so they have to be good:)

shiiiiittt.... lets go run em.. well.. watch out for the fuzz in the hood... I got pulled over by your house the other night... they had complaints of a Mustang speeding around the hood.. damn neighborhood crime watch stuff... come by this weekend or something
