View Full Version : Question About DFWStangs Monthly Fun n Grudge Race

For those of you that come out to Denton for your monthly track gtg's I have a question. How would you guys like to make it a more formal meeting?

What I have planned is to make the 1st Friday of each month a special DFWStangs gtg night at the races. What we would do is let every person that comes in and presents there DFWStangs I.D. card would receive a tech card for free.

Let me know what you guys think. If everybody is up for it, then we will plan for March 7th to be the first "Official DFWStangs GTG at Denton Dragway"

i think that is an excellent idea. although i'm at Texas A&M for college i'll be back over the summer and plan to get to the track a lot. what time would the track be open and close?

Beginning in March we will open at 6:00 on Fridays, and race until 2:30am.

im in the same boat...except at a better school :) and this is a great idea. I have come up just about twice every month before on average, if not more, and this helps make it more formal and ritualistic :)

i did that and then the screen went blank.... does dfwstangs send the card to me?

I like those hours. If one of my many projects is running, I might try and go up there, I haven't been in a few years.

This sounds like a good idea but you guys need to find a better towing company for those of us that break!!! I think those guys in the black supra a few weeks ago waited for like 3 hours!!! When the first wrecker showed up and he said he was there for the silver mustang, I was like Whoooop!!! Thank god because it was C-O-L-D.

Will the announcer be calling out screen names off of the tech cards and announce the grudges or is it just going to be a discount gtg night?

Anyway, good job to stay in touch with your customers.

This is kinda off topic but are you guys having Fun n Grudge this Saturday 2/22/03? Im asking because Friday looks like rain.

We are scheduled to be open from 6-1230am. It doesn't look good though.

We will also be open Sat, the 23rd. 130-800 and weather looks beautiful.

BTW aggie, I'm sure we can put together something for me to talk about.

you're not serious right? do i really need to post up the national rankings again between A&M and Tech in academics? i wish i went to an easy enough school that i could go home every weekend. ;) :p

On the membership cards I had to reboot, and ended up using Opera to just download the .pdf file to my HD and opened it with Acrobat and printed from there.

Reboot and try it, and make sure you have the Adobe Acrobat reader installed.

I finally got the membership card thing to work by clearing my browser cache. It seems to be really fickle.
