is it tuned port or carburated? i helped a friend of mine put an s10 together with a small block.

what motor mounts-headers set up are you running. we had the full length headers that came apart and wrapped around the steering shaft. are you running the stock rear end? it's hard to keep axles in those with slicks and spray out at the track. small blocks in s10's make GOOD street cars, and they're fun to drive.:D i would like to see it when it comes around. we can play if you want, it is gonna be hard to hook it up on the street with out slicks. talk to you later.

It's a .040 400(408) with TRW forged pistons, 5.7 Chevy Pink rods, cast factory crank that's been turned, 1.94/1.50 valved heads, CompCams 306S(.555 lift and 306 dur.), solid lifters, hardened pushrods, 1.5 rockers, Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake, 750 Holley double pumper, TH350 w/ shiftkit, 2,200 stall, 3.42 Aussie Posi unit with hardened axles(31 spline). As far as mounts and headers... it's got a motorplate and the Hedman shorties with 3" Flowmasters. I blew the motor and this is the new combination. Before I blew it I was running away from low 12 cars, I hope to be faster with this combo.

By the way, I used to have a Civic Si that ran a 13.4 on motor and 12.50s on spray. So I'm not a total hater of Imports, I just like domestics better!

i'd like to see some better pics. is that going to be a street truck? you must like runnin valves.:D i'll try and dig up some pics of the one we built. it turned out pretty nice. now some dude in wylie has it. :( it was jet black with old school centerlines on it with the bottle, fuel cell, and battery mounted in the back of the bed. pretty similar setup as you have(except the motor plate) it went 6.80's on a 200 shot with an old victor jr. and a 750 center squirter. the hard part is just getting it to hook.;) let me know if you have any better pics.

I don't have any better pics of it for one because it 's too ugly to get a good pic of it. The pics on AAR were before I got it running the 1st time with the 408 and look really shitty. Right now it's got a set of 84 Z28 wheels vs the TA wheels that were on it in the pics. It's also got 26x10.5x15 M/T E.T. Streets on the back. It's definitely fun though. It's so ugly a car full of mexicans pulled up next to me and pointed and laughed, until I got on it, then their jaws dropped and I felt alot better.
