What is the best DVD burner you have used? I wanna burn copies of my DVDs...for backup of course. Thanks!!! Windows XP.....

Sony, ours wasnt cheap, but it works with all dvd players and can burn -r and +r I believe. ( I got it for my brother for xmas :p )

The current model that is going away is the Sony DRU500A and is being replaced by the DRU500AX which should be out by tomorrow. Those are both internal, but they do make an external as well.

about dvd burning...my computer has one in it but i have nooooooo clue how to make back up copies of my dvd any help wouold be appreciated..
