You can get them from pricewatch.com for $30 ATI cards put out good displays, if you want something more gaming only type card, I'd get nvidia as they pretty cheap and their drivers are a lot better.

What AbecX said. ATI is a better all around card, better video out, better 2D performance, but not as good 3D performance. Nvidia is adequate on video out, and 2D, but excels on 3D ... so if you're looking to mostly play games, I'd go with Nvidia.

I just picked up a NVidia GEForce 4 420 w/ 64MB DDR from www.tigerdirect.com for $49 + shipping. Also has a $10 rebate. Had it in for a few days now and I like it quite a bit so far. I was considering the Radeon 7500 when I made my purchase.
