I keep getting the Good 'Ol DFWStangs Newsletter Reminder for the Sonic GTG each thursday. But does anyone still go? I thought it has just pretty much moved over to Pappa's.

i think so. As soon as i get back in town and the weather is good, expect us to be at sonic :)

I'm all over it if someone wants to start it up again. I don't care for Pappas as much...I like standing around the cars talking more than pulling up and going inside. Where's BJ to organize the "Old Timers' Sonic GTG"? :D

Yeah, i am the same way. I prefer keeping it car oriented.

My guess is that once the weather becomes a little nicer everyone will want to be outside instead of inside and sonic will resurrect itself.

<--hopes to actually be able to make one of them.....

Hell ya, I like the Sonic GTG. Its outdoors and has the cars. I really dont lke to drink all that much and I certainly dont like to be around a bunch of drunk adults acting like children. PLUS - it really angers me to see certain people who drink and drive and those people know who they are.

Sonic is a "spring/summer/fall" thing guys. Come early/mid March we will all be back doing the Sonic thing. Just to cold right now.

No shit, everyone still meet all winter last year (I didn't because of that 400 mile round trip).
