I'm looking at getting a larger laptop backpack for travel. Requirements are:
Must be small enough to be considered carry on luggage
Have plenty of room for a large laptop with all accessories
Have room for other things as well.
Be rugged, and would like some form of semi-water proofing

I'm looking at the following:
Spire Zing XL (http://www.spireusa.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=SU&Product_Code=ZL2)
or the
Booq Paq 2 System (http://www.booqbags.com/bpsystem.html)

What do you use for a laptop backpack?

I like the look of the Booq Pack over the Spire.

I also like the following:

Samsonite Sumo (http://www.ebags.com/products/index.cfm?ModelID=10446&bb_id=&sub_site_ID=20)

Samsonite Groove (http://www.ebags.com/products/index.cfm?sourceid=CAA::00252244085413729635&ModelID=10447)

Trager Ultra-Lite Laptop Brief (http://www.ebags.com/products/index.cfm?sourceid=CAA::00252244087386970120&ModelID=6374)

BTW, ebags.com is a pretty cool site, that's where I found all of those bags.

Great thread, I'm actually looking for a backpack myself since the bag I use know is to bulky (it's heavily padded/cushioned).

Targus Sport Standard

It looks exactly like the Compaq Backpack (probably just repackaged) that I was thinking about getting.

Targus manufactures the bags for Compaq, or I should say Compaq sells the Targus bags under the Compaq name. ;)

Targus and Port are now one in the same as well.

Figured as much, thanks Mike.
