I use Ad Muncher and it works great ( kills pop ups and even banner ads! ) Do a search on www.download.com for Ad Muncher. Let me know if it works for ya. BTW, this should've been posted in the Computer Forum.

Go here-

Analog X (http://www.analogx.com)

And get this-

POW! (http://www.analogx.com/files/powi.exe)

Works great.. lots of other neat files there as well.

I was using POW! for a while. The problem I have with it, is it doesn't have any level of auto pop-up stopping. You have to configure it for every single pop-up that you get. While that comes in handy for going to sites that when you click on a link ... like to blow up a picture or something, it opens in a pop-up window ... it's bad when you go to a site that has 30 pop-ups, and then the next site has 10 pop-ups, and so on, and so forth, and they're all different pop-up windows, so you're constantly having to update the "block" list.

Unless they've updated it since I last used it, and it has some auto pop-up stopping ability, I wouldn't use it.

And besides, the ones that automatically block pop-ups, have a simple dissabler ... ie: with Pop-Up Stopper, you can hold Ctrl, or Shift when clicking on a link that opens a pop-up windows (like the enlarging picture example), which will dissable Pop-Up Stopper from blocking that window from popping up, for as long as you have Ctrl or Shift held down. Not sure what others may have.
