Sometimes, you just get busy and if you aren't prepared, that can spell disaster... I'm wondering if any of you guys have a disaster preparedness program? Like a place you can eat and have something totally healthy? I got to thinking and I was thinking anywhere that had a grilled chicken sandwich would probably work....like Sonic or Chick Fil A...just as long as you didn't get the fries and you don't add any mayo and you'd be alright. Anyone got any opinions on this?

I usually stick to subway...but there are a few others I like.
Wendy's has a good mandarin chicken salad, good for you and great tasting.
Any kind of a 'wrap' isn't that bad...taco bell/KFC has a good chicken wrap. Just tell them to go light on the dressing/sauce...or have them put it on the side.
You can eat the grilled chicken sandwich, but if you are really strict you would toss the bread into the trash.
I would also be interested in any others that people know of...

Subway, McDonalds, Whataburger, Wendy's (I think), and several other fast food places always have a grilled chicken salad on their menu and they are usually pretty good.;) Oh yeah, can't forget Schlotzky's food because all that shit is good, especially the salads.:D

Are Schlotzky's sandwiches good for you? They taste GREAT!, and I would think that they are not too healthy, anyone know?
Also, we left out fish...grilled of course. Some places sell grilled/baked fish...

There's the low down on their sandwiches...some aren't too bad...
I'd stick to the salads though...

Chicken sandwiches and salads are a better bet, but beware of buttered buns and fatty dressing, most all places automatical butter their bread so request it dry and ask for a low-fat/ fat-free dressing.
My fast food fix is a Subway double turkey on wheat, honey mustard, and all the veggies. No cheese of course.

I had Turkey, lettuce, tomato, bell pepper, and honey mustard. What does subway charge if you ask for double turkey? The price of a footlong?

I work at sonic and our grilled chicked wrap is pretty good, it comes with low cal. ranch dressing, lettuce, and two tomatoes and of course grilled chicken, its probably the healthiest thing we have and taste pretty good.

That salad is very high fat with the almonds and the dressing!!! salads do not equal nutrition.

Marisa...
When I have eaten the mandarin chicken salad, I got the almonds on the side in a packet, and I dont eat them (forgot to mention this). You've got a point though! Without the almonds and dressing, it isn't bad at all...
I used the reduced fat creamy ranch which has 110calories, 9g of fat, and 7g carbs. I usually only use about half though..
Wendy's Mandarin Chicken Salad:

My brother-in-law used to go to Whataburger and order 2 chicken breasts with nothing else at all. I think he said they were supposed to have about 25 - 30 grams of protein each.

If im gonna try to eat healthy the drive thru probably isnt the best place to eat. I always end up just ordering one of those fattening burgers in the picture with the biggie size coke. They put those damn pictures up there for a reason ya know....:D
I like the grilled chicken sandwich at Whataburger, its on a whole wheat bun. In general I avoid all forms of fries, mayo or other dressing, etc...
I ate some taco bell this weekend though!

Healthy fast food..well isnt that an oxymoron for todays society. If I am left the house unprepared without my meals, then I typically find some kind of chicken breast and toss out the bun or bread. Its usually enough to tide me over till I can get home and back to stuff that I know the exact nutritional value of.
