OK, not to sound like a jerk, but there is no such car as a 641/2 2+2. BTW, the easiest way to tell a 641/2 from a '65 is the '65 and ups have an alternator, the earlier run cars have a generator.
The 2+2 refers to the fastback model, which did not enter into production until the '65 model year (actually Januray '65 to be exact). If it's a 641/2 then it's either a coupe or a convertible. If it's a 2+2 then it is a '65 (I don;t think they used the 2 + 2 designation for the '66 year fastbacks, but I'll check to be sure. That being said there are several ways to tell what year and options the car really is:
1. if there is a data plate on the inside drivers door it will tell you everything, year, model, options, etc.
2. If there is no data plate you can still tell by looking at the vin stamping on the driver's side engine compartment, above the front wheelwell. It should start with the number/letter "5R" or "6R".
Post-up the info you find on the data plate and i can tell you more about the car. If you are thinking of buying it, depending on the price it might be a good deal, but take along someone who knows classic mustangs. It is a very different proposition buying one of these as opposed to a late model car. If you don;t know anyone, drop me a PM and maybe I can help.
