my guess is ricey, I'm not fond of artificially coloring my tires. If a manufacturer wants to put in a different dye into the rubber mix other than Black that can be cleaned well I think that would be a better solution. In fact I think at the Detroit auto show some tire companies actually made grey tires for a 4x4, looked good, but must get dirty really easy.
