I was going to grab some lunch today in my Lightning and pulled up at a stoplight beside a new Accord. It was two younger guys ... I didn't figure they'd want to race, but when the light turned green they took off like a bat outa hell. I know, I know ... I wouldn't normally waste my time, but I felt insulted and wromped on it. :D These guys had their window halfway down and my hood was right beside their window when my eaton started getting up to speed. Now, for those of you who've never raced a Lightning or heard one ... the Eaton supercharges have a distinct LOUD sound that -could- be mistaken for a cop I guess. These guys SLAM on their brakes so hard I hear the antilock kick in. At the next light I asked, "did you think that was a cop or something" ... and the driver replied, "no, there was a cop! I heard it!!!". I just laughed and went on my way. LoL.
