View Full Version : Water Blade
To use or not? I bought one, and I realize that it's made of surgical grade silicone or whatever the hell it is. BUT, it makes the most god awful sound when you run it down the paint. I've heard just a couple of stories where it's left scratches behind. I suppose that the scratches would have been left behind regardless the drying method, as it was probably from poor washing. Anyone have any thoughts?

I wouldn't use it. I use the absorber and it works perfect - leaves no scratches.

I heard the same thing about it leaving scratches. I tried using it once or twice, but I didn't like it at all. I say use the Absorber and some cotton towels. Dry the car with the Absorber then follow up with some 100% Cotton Towels, try to buy the towels in the same color as your car... so that if any lint is left behind, it will be unnoitceable. Just my .02
