Sorry guys, just remembered that I will be out of town next week, so we had to postpone the race.
THIS RACE HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR1/18/03
This class will be open to all racers who can fit the rules, there is not cap on the number of entries. Admission to the track will be $10 and a tech card will be $5 before 9:30pm...free after. Anybody who telles the ladies at the gate that they are running the Domestic Dominator race will get a free tech card
Rules:
*All cars must be driven to track
*All cars must run DOT approved tires...(DR's legal)
*Must have current tags, inspection, insurance
Program:
*Cars will be randomly paired
*Heads Up racing on .5 pro tree
*Winner of Mustang class will compete against winner of the F-Body class
Prizes will be given for Best Burnout in Competition and Best Sleeper (based on appearance vs. performance of car).
This race will be run in conjunction with F-Body Frenzy, a class with same rules and sames setup. The winner of each class will square off to determine an overall Domestic Dominator of January.
First round will begin at 9:00pm
The F-body guys won the last race, so it's time for the Stangs to try and get some revenge.
Also, we will run a Quick 8...here's the details:
*All cars must have current tags and inspection
*No tubbed cars allowed
*Cars may run slicks and may be trailered to the track
*Restricted to ONE power adder, unless a power adder was installed by manufacturer, then you may run TWO
*No two-steps or delay boxes allowed
*All races will be run heads-up on a .5 pro tree
*Admission for the class is $25 car & driver
*You must tell the gate you want to run the class and pay for a tech card there
*First qualifying pass at 8, second at 9
*Top 8 qualified cars will race, pairings will be laddered with #1 running #8 and so on.
*Lane choice will go to the fastest car from the previous round
Winner will recieve $100
Runner-Up will receive $50
Semis will receive $20
WE MUST HAVE 8 CARS TO RUN THE CLASS. IF 8 CARS ARE NOT QUALIFIED, $15 OF THE ENTRY FEE WILL BE REFUNDED AND CARS WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE TIME TRIALS.
