Rice Stang tried to race me about 100 times on the way home [Archive]

I finally gave in on 121, but really never got a good race. I took off, and he didnt, then I let out, and he flew by me, so I was playing the catchup game, and I didnt really feel like racing to 150, so I let out when my nose caught his front wheel well.

ohh well maybe next time we can get a good run in, maybe from a stop :D

Sure it wasn't that suped up honda with the shogun body kit and nitrous?

I had a lonely drive home on 380 behind a gas truck running 40mph. That drive sucks.

Easy now, I got my ass handed to me by a 'rice-stang.' It was at school. This guy had a pearl white 89 GT ragtop with chrome 17 inch ricer wheels, saleen body kit, Euro-tail lights and he spanked me by like 10 cars from a second gear roll.

Ended up that he had a 347, stage II TFS heads, cam, TFS intake, 1 3/4" Lt's, Prochamber H, blah blah blah, Tubular k member/a-arms/coil-overs, rear suspension, TKO, 3.55 gears and a 150 shot. Damn, did I feel stupid.

I AM THE OWNER OF THAT MUSTANG, AND I WASNT TRYING TO RACE YOU 100 TIMES LIKE YOU SAID, I AM SURE YOU SAW THE BIKE IN FRONT OF US, WELL THATS MY FRIEND AND IN THE HIGHWAY I WAS FOLLOWING HIM CAUSE I DIDNT KNOW THE WAY BACK TO PLANO, SO I HAD TO SPEED UP BUT THERE WERE TOO MANY COPS WITH THEIR RADAR ON, AND WHEN WE GOT TO 121 , I WAS DRIVING RIGTH NEXT TO YOU AND YOU TOOK OFF ,SO I TOOK OFF , AND I HAD MORE THAN HALF OF CAR AHEAD OF YOU , BUT I HAD TO STOP CAUSE THERE WAS A CAR IN FRONT ME, BUT HEY I MIGHT BE WRONG AND YOU SLOW DOWN CAUSE YOU DIDNT WANNA RACE, BUT WE DID TOOK OFF , I APOLOGIZE IF IAM WRONG.

well, its all good, Im sure I will get another chance again. I was pulling on ya, and I didnt feel like going 150 anyways. Maybe next time we can get a even launch.

sure, that sounds good, cuase when youre on the highway one takes off first ,so its not an even launch, but hey maybe next time , i gotta get some slicks, specially now thats cold,but hey maybe ill see you in plano , (if youre from plano) at any gtg's, :D

that would be it. it would have been a beter race if he started when I did, I let off because I didnt think he wanted to race, and then he took off, he was at my rear wheel, but had the forward momoentum, and by time I got back in it I was at his bumper, and I got all the way to his front wheel when I let out, didnt feel interested in going 150

I thought it was funny too, if you were following the bike, how come you were infront of him everytime I saw you, and why did you follow me down 121, didnt look like you were going that way.

i live in plano, i take 35w, 121, and then sprin creek till coit, on 121 i was in front of the bike but in 35 w i wasnt, and you saw it

my best time was 9.2,but i jsut bought the steeda pullyes, and the timing adjuster,and hopefully i can have some longtubes on for friday, and i did not have slicks, so my tires werent hooking up at all:(
