View Full Version : What is everyone weighing in at now adays
I am breaking the scales at 204. I am really not concerned about loosing weight, because I will be gaining mass as I cut body fat. So I will prolly only drop to 200, maybe gain more weight. but will be much leaner. Talk to me at the end of Feb.

Back when I was working out I weighed 190 with a 32 inch waist and my thighs wouldn't fit very easily into my jeans legs.
Now, it's about 183-185, 32's are a joke, and now it's my ass that won't fit into the pants.
<--perusing the fitness forum for the first time in a while LOL

currently at 209 lbs and around 12% bodyfat , just started downhill mountain biking again so weight will drop as soon as i start riding harder as i get back into shape , been off the bike for 5 mths and out of the gym for 3 mths.
Still going up! 185-186 last couple of days. Finally lifting HEAVY, trying to gain as fast as possible so no cardio at all at this point for me! I'll start all that in a couple of months.

A great example that "you are what you eat". It may be cliche, but it's very true.

I am right at about 240, and I am 6'5". I recovered from a shoulder injury at the end of September and got on a new diet and workout. Then I was at 220, so about 20 pound gain in 4 months. But trying to eat 4,500 good calories a day is hard!!!
i'm still at 5'11 and 170. i can't gain anything.

Damn mind, you sound like me. I stand about 6' and have weighed 170-175 for the last 9 months and can't seem to gain no matter how much I lift. Of course I think I've lost 3-5% body fat over the last few months so a little more muscle.

Just one thing to remember if you are trying to gain weight, you grow outside of the gym, not in it. Working out is to stimulate the muscles. You need to feed them so they grow, and feed them a bunch!!!

Good food and a lot of sleep is key! Too bad I eat a whole bunch of clean calories (something like 3500 a day) and sleep right at 8 hours a night. I don't drink or smoke either.
