Beat My 1st LS1!!

Yep, many foxbody owners might not admit it but the mods i did to my car all paid off last night, i know ill get crap "he was a stock ls1" but yeah a buddy and i (blue lt1) headed to the frys parking lot last night in garland and found a nice little black ls1 (he said it was bone stock) we headed to some side road and we raced from a 15, 25 and dead stop and i got him from the dead stop (i have 205's on the rear :D) and the punches, oh my he didnt stand a chance!! But ill quit ranting, its nothing big that i beat a stock ls1 but to me it is, that made my night!! :D

No it was a m6 (that stands for 6 speed right??) z28!! One of the newer ones with those gawd awful ugly wheels!! :D But on christmas day my brother and i raced from like a 30 punch down 30 and i had him by half a car until 4th, 2nd gear punch....he has a 01 ws6 with a lid and some kinda exhaust with a cutout!! I have a little weight advantage but oh well!! :D

I bet he's thats the dumbass I ran in my brothers car, he was talking mad shit but I never drive my brothers car so when I got up next to him i didnt turn off the traction control and the car bogged really bad. He jumped out and when I started reeling him in at about 70-80 mph he shut it down and proclaimed victory.....what a dipshit, I told him what happened and asked him to race again and he said " No, I already beat you once" I was like what a friggin dumbass, his car is quick but its no match for the Vette like he thinks it is. I would have walked his ass if I wouldn't have made a stupid mistake Like I did. And whats up with shutting it down at 80 mph ??? what a dork, even his freinds were asking him why he shut it down so early. He drives a white Cobra (looks stock) he's spraying a 125 shot. I disagree. Ls1s are wicked fast stock but mustangs cant hang with them stock (unless its a cobra but im talkin about GTs.)

it depends on where i am racing a LS1. If we are racing from a stop i can usuall beat the pretty good, but if its from a 3rd gear roll they eat my ass up on the highway. Its just there top end that is the killer. If i spray on the Highway they dont have a chance (if its in near stock condition!).

I was at the carwash last night with a red vert and the dude with the black lt1 TA with prostars was up there.....i didnt see u!! :D And i stopped for the night when i was racing this pewter ws6 infront of the carwash and he swerved into my lane as i was pulling on him :D and nearly side swiped me as everyone saw :mad: but i shut it down so i didnt embaress him!! :D

Tyson doesn't have a Passat Wagon......He has a Gen4 Jetta with the mods I listed before up top............His car is quick and he isn't having turbo problems. It is the factory turbo that will only make 10psi of boost. His front mount is overkill and we finally got the right blow off valve on it......Stock turbo is maxed. The boost guage spikes up to 15 then drops to 10 and holds. That is all he will get out of it until upgraded. But 205's bro won't hurt you from a 30 punch unless you have a real steep gear like 4.30's+.
I am guessing you have 3.55's or 3.73's and with the 205's you are lowering your gear ratio even more. He has never beat a LS1 from a 30 punch either.....He has beaten many modified LT1's and Mustangs with gears, intake, and filter. But never a LS1! If he has beaten a LS1 then he didn't beat the car, he beat the driver!

Oh me and the eclipse :D HUSH ur mouth, i have been figuring out the ways to make my car run better, being on empty hurts the stang very much :D!! But as u asked above i ended up going to everet/newton not sure if thats who u said and i paid them $110 and they are taking care of my tickets!! $110 that i needed for the nittos on friday but its ok it will be 43 degrees on friday so if i have to wait oh well!! :D

The first race was good between you guys, I didnt go becouse I didnt think it was fair, I hooked awesome and pulled pretty hard so I let out in hopes of going from like a 20 or so, but you guys kept going. :)

I dont know. I hooked good though, cause when I got out of it you were coming back and I could hear you feathering it out.....

I think the hood helped with my cold air intake, cause top end is where you normally get me.

Rich's car hooked like a bitch. When we ran from 20mph, we both spun a bit in first but he didnt spin much in second and i was getting sideways in second :( Time for some supsenion mods and for Nitto's :D

Great runs last night, Rich pretty much owned me on every run. Had some fun on a week night for a change.

And i had my 2nd LS1 kill last night!! :D A little pewter he said "bone stock" SS with the original tips from the factory, raced from a 20 punch where my 205's are perfectly fine and i had him until 4th gear...when i shut it down, i only had him by half a car but still i am very impressed by my car sometimes!! :D Now as we raced we went over the bridge and what do u know a blue ss and white ws6 pull out and i run them and man it was sad, the blue SS only got me by a car but the white ws6 drug me pretty bad!! :D Fun night though!!
