i dont have any good ones because i never street race but lets hear some of yours. any high dollar cars or cars people thought were really fast that you've beat? just wanna hear some racing stories.
the only one i really have is one from the track. i pulled up in the staging lanes and look over and saw a 67-69 camaro with a snorkel hood and some HUGE slicks. he was running open headers and it was cammin' pretty hard. i figured it was really fast but i ended up putting about 3 cars on him.

I raced a SS yesterday and a WS6 and beat both to the next stop
light.
Of course they had no idea we were racing because I was
in my mom's ford explore:)......I MISS MY CAR DAMN IT!

I have many kill stories but the best are of a fairly new z28 and a 98 cobra who thought he was bad picking on my little ol v-6 mustang. Lets see the z28 wouldn't give up on the highway until he couldn't see me anymore, lets put it this way at about 100 he couldn't keep up anymore. And the Cobra had all the cool gound effects on it and there was only 2 people in the car, the driver and his girl, I had myself and 2 others in my car with nothing more than exhaust and an airfilter, we were neck and neck all the way through 3rd gear and he gave up when I started passing him. He turned off at the next light after we had a burn out comp. my tires put off some pretty good smoke effects. I got burned pretty bad by an ss camero but redeemed myself when we did the long haul. I to have some ricer burns but none that I would post on here.

back on 12/6/02 up at denton I put a white firebird on the trailer in the first round of brackets that night. All out race car with no interior, big slicks, data loggers and blah blah blah. He got to go home early.......I went on to win the whole freaking thing.
Is that what you were looking for? A full on Fbody race car beat by a little bolt on gt?

I beat a '00 SS that is in the "TrueStreet" gang. I was in my '92 hatch w/TFS heads, ecam, 3.55's and a Tremmec, he claimed to run low 11's:rolleyes: and my car ran 13.2 on street tires, probably a little faster but I hadn't learned to drive it yet.
We lined up and were about even till I hit 2nd and I put a car length on him and never looked back! I even got it on video. That was my best kill story.

V6 with exhaust and air filter, this must be one of those i'm a good driver stories. :rolleyes:

32vfromhell....so many times I cant remember(even spotted him 2)
Andrew....(his stock Z06, not the stang)

quickSS......(he acted like a fag after he lost)

Hmm, my best kill wasnt much of a kill...since I put my new motor in I raced a friend of mine's coupe, hes running low 12s on street tires. Raced him from a roll one night, if I hit a gear, he'd pull me, if he hit a gear Id pull him, Thankfully his car wasnt a top end car, once we hit 5th, I slowly was walking away, pretty proud of that street kill. Best track kill I knocked a guy out with a pro streeted 69 camaro at the high school drags awhile back (Sure it was daddys car), All I can say is Im glad Im a killer bracket racer!

i HEARD he was just playing with you the first time and really SPANKED that ass the second time :D :p
i haven't seen him post in a LONG time. if you want i can try to get him up here again. him or "worm boy" the black ls1.

by who? when i was all motor i got beat and now i usually only get beat by drag cars at the track. i recall running a certain red SS, he jumped me by 2 cars and i still caught him and it was a mid 12 sec car. i even have video of me smackin around a few LS1s:D
i know you have run faster than me but i think from a roll on the street would be a whole nother story. you wants some, COME GET SOME!!

i thought i was gonna get beat by an ALL MOTOR LS1 ??? you must be scared because you dont think you can hang from a roll. i know for sure without any more motor work i will be VERY close to the 10s. then i should be a pretty good run for you. you better just hope Santa doesnt bring that little stroker ive been wantin ;)

im not scared but my car wont hook in first on the street, hardly hooks at the track.
since when am i still looking for 12s? are you that stupid? i have only run in the 11s twice but hey i trap 120-122 all the time. most of my runs are at least 12.0s-12.1s so i think i have the 12s down.
incase you didnt know its not the easiest thing in the world to find a perfect spot to launch at on drag radials with a 5 spd. the best 60ft i have ever cut was a 1.79 i usually cut high 1.8s though, occasionaly 1.84s-1.85s as opposed to your 1.6s
its different when you hook and i dont. you have everything you can get for your suspension, i only have subframes and lakewood 50/50 shocks. i need some control arms badly and some struts.

no i didnt run 12s on motor, but the guy i got it from did. i dont speedshift so thats ones reason i didnt. he went 12.68 in my car on drag radials. i will admit im not a great driver. as soon as i learned to speedshift i put the blower on. with the power it makes now the stock trans wouldnt last long at all.
i know from a stop you will win, but i do know of a car in my family that would most likely spank your little SS with you on the spray :eek: :eek:
oh by the way, didnt you always run people from a roll in your black SS? from what i remember you did so i guess you cant drive either

yes it is, and i love it, fuck shiftin:D but for my daily driver its great. i think you should be more worried about the spirit when its ready, i have some plans in the works for it:D

SLP, yes I know him, I just saw him this Sunday actually. My brother worked with him at there old job.
I thought that was your car, it runs good from what he says...but you know if he would have listened to me he would have gave you a nice whooping, but he wouldn't. I still harass him on how he makes all that power and expects it to hook on those little hard rubber radials, I keep telling him he was going to get yanked out of the hole, and he would have to try and catch up, and catch up is not easy! It happened just like we said!
I told him to put the slicks on it but he didn't want to grind on the calipers...oh well. If I where him, it would have been 30#'s of boost and a fresh set of slicks and a little spray...
He said it might be for sale too.

one time back when i was pretty lightly modded, i ran a guy in a shelby A/C cobra replica with a 351 and some sort of aftermarket heads and trick flow intake( fuel injected). Well, as i pulled up, i heard those header tubes blat right into my ears, and was scared of a beating. The guy did say this was its first trip to the strip with the new motor, but that can mean anything.
Anyway, the tree drops, and i chop him down and scamper out of the hole. I ended up putting a few on him before the traps, but he had some major problems to deal with. Still a good feeling to know you busted the chops of a 2400lb rocket. :D

Today while heading to my familys house, which my brother and i took our cars from my dads house, his 00 ws6 a4 with exhaust and lid and my 93 coupe, well as we head to the beginning of chaha to head towards dalrock down 30 i down shifted 2 2nd and i hear his boat down shift as well and we punched it and from 2nd-4th & i had him by 1/2 a car but from the middle of 4th to 5th at XXX speed he pulled hard, those damn ls1's with all that top end, but he still finally gave my car a little respect, which i deserve!! :D

my favorite will always be my first race ever with the SVO.
ran up along with a 2000-2001 GT stang. he goosed at me, and goosed at me... i had a friend with me and hadnt ever ran anyone. i didn't want to lose publicly.
we went from 45-110, and i pulled over 2 cars.
the only mods were 18 PSI of boost, ported intake, open 2" *WAY SMALL!* exhaust and 4.10 gears.
stock head, exhaust manifold, turbo, computer...
i did this several more times.
noteworthy: i also took out a paper-plate 2002 V6 stang on a 60-115ish punch. is it a great kill? no, but the fact i put OVER ten cars on his ass is something...

Well, here's my latest kill story. After getting off work tonight, I am in Carrollton driving down Josey heading to the Sonic GTG and a little rice'd out Prelude pulls up next to me and keeps speeding up, then slowing down. I finally give it a little gas and he downshifts and tries to take off. I still have it in 4th gear and just lay on the gas and right as I am cruising past him, we see 2 cop cars sitting on the side of the road. The guy in the Prelude runs, and I pull over quickly because I know I can't get away, even if I get away. Know what I mean ! So, the cop is actually pretty cool about it and didn't take me to jail (thankfully) and only wrote me one ticket for "drag racing". My insurance card wasn't up to date, I have no cats, my exhaust doesn't exit the rear of the car, blah, blah, blah, so he was actually a decent guy, but....the win wasn't worth the ticket. :( :mad:
