what would be a good beginner workout? Got Boost has seen me and he could vouch that i don't look like i weigh 180. i'm trying to figure out where it all is. but anyhow.. i'd like to get alittle more strength and some tone. can someone tell me where to start?

You might check out this site and see if you find it interesting. You can register for free and there is some pretty good stuff there IMO.:)

Stick to the basic single and compound movements like bench press, squats, shoulder press, bicep curls, tricep extensions, leg curls, and leg extensions. Once you get your body acclimated and coordinated to doing those basics, then you can vary it up with different movements to hit your muscles from different angles. Give your body a couple months to get into the swing of things, and in the meantime learn as much as you can through mags, the web, or other's at the gym. Your learning curve should go up as quickly as your strength curve so that you'll already have movements in mind once you decide to diversify your program.
