I have a 95 GT Convertible with the stock Mach 460 Sound system. What would be a good replacement for it? I'm not looking for earth shattering bass, but more like nice highs, nice mids, and some healthy bass. What would everyone recommend? Thanks.

Correct... mostly speakers and amps though. I'm very interested in getting one of those MP3 In dash CD-players

Well, whatever you decide, be very carefull taking those components out as they have a very good resell value IMO.
This is what I'm thinking about going with as far as my system.
I've been looking at the new Kenwood MP3/CD Player that just came out (not the one from last year). It's priced a lot better and is also the second generation from Kenwood so hopefully it will be better than similar offerings from Aiwa and Sony.
Soundstream has a nice multi-channel amp that I'm looking at for powering my whole system. Look at one of the other messages regarding this.
I'll probably go with some nice co-axial (sp?) speakers for the door panel and rears for now. Not sure if I'll get elaborate with those speakers like components or anything. Just as long as they sound good.
I have a JL Audio Stealtbox in the trunk that I'll use as a subwoofer. I'm planning on powering it with the fifth channel of the Soundstream amp and if that doesn't cut it I'll pull out the 200 Watt HiFonic Mono Subwoofer Amp to power it.
Well, that's what I plan on doing anyway http://64.81.114.233/ubb/biggrin.gif

Same here Jose. I'd like to put that Kenwood in the car and use the stock speakers for now. Then upgrade all of that at a later date. I've got a 10" JL sub and an Alpine amp that I originally planned on putting into the Cobra. But, I think I'm just gonna put that into Tracy's car and get something better for myself. http://64.81.114.233/ubb/biggrin.gif
Again, at a later date.

I wanna do the opposite because of the convertable top... Ive been broken into before and it aint fun w/a conv. I was wondering if the stock deck will have any problems if I upgrade the system but keep the stock looking deck.
