View Full Version : Just gave up alcohol, and fast food.
I have been back on a regular weight workout after a month of strait cardio after blowing a tricep muscle.
I have been doing cardio in the morning, and weights at night starting this week.
Today I gave up fast food and beer, actually havent drank since last friday.
Right now I weigh in at 201.5, Dont know if I will loose any weight, but want to loose body fat.
I am working really hard right now, and dont want diet to mess it up.
Wish me luck, This is my attempt to get back to the way I was a few years ago, when I was hard core health daddy.

well a few years ago, all I ate was chicken breast, and tuna, I was bad. But you catch yourself slipping, and then bam, your done.
I had really got burned out though, I was working out 6 days a week, and dieting everyday.
Not to mention I was a manager at a gym, and that did not help, when I left there to work for Palm Beach, I was so burn on the gym, I had to take a break, and when I came back to start working out again, I just didnt give it my all. DId about enough to maintane size, but lost alot.

I haven't had any alcohol since October, and I'll probably be well into Jan or Feb before I have any again at the earliest (I never drink on New Years BTW)
I don't really have a problem w/ fast food, and if I do get anything fast, it's a whataburger (no cheese) but I haven't had one in a month...
it never ceases to amaze me how much better I sleep and how much more energy I have when I'm not drinking. (go figure) oh, and the extra money in my pocket ain't bad either!

yeah, I forget about those sometimes, but when I'm running around getting stuff done two hours before I used to even get out of bed, I'm like, "man this hangover-free stuff isn't too bad..."

I am like Boost, :D, I only drink on thur night, and one weekend night, but that is enought to mess things up:D

I gave up almost all fast food (I've cheated only 3 or 4 times in the past 8 months) of course anytime I can get home from college I eat my weight in pasta, thank god for italian friends and their families:D .
I'm only 18 so I don't drink.....uhh, yeah right. Anyway, I don't drink down here in Austin and have only had alcohol a half dozen times in the past 4 months or so when I get together with my brother and our friends.

I really need to follow suit... I'm getting WAY out of shape, at least by my standards.
