Computer Guys What Is This

I was wondering if someone could tell what this is for and how is it used. I got it from work and I am not sure as to what it is.

external hard disk drive, I think it uses tapes or something.

Looks like an external 1 GB Tape Drive similar to a ZIP or JAZZ drive.

I was wondering because I don't have any use for it and was going to sell it. But I don't know for how much or anything like that.

Syquest was the first company to come out with a drive like that. They went by the way side and Iomega took over with their Zip and Jazz drives. I have never seen a 1 GB version though.

Same concept as a jazz drive, might be hard to find drivers since it looks like they are no longer in business by their website.

I checked their site and they are $249 new. Check Ebay to see if there are any to get an idea what they are selling for. I am guessing like $40-50 at most. The cartridges are like $50 each so unless you have some to include, I doubt it sells.
