Yesterday marked a month without imbibing testosterone inhibiting alcohol. Yay me.:) I've never been an alkie, but I realized that my one or two days a week of "partying" weren't helping my fitness goals at all. I'm back above 200lbs without any extra bodyfat, and I've noticed that my diet (especially on the weekends) has even improved (beer feeds on will-power). I'm gonna make a pro outta me yet.;)

Congrats!
Getting closer to 200 myself. Last weigh-in was 193.5 (still going for 200). It's hard, but I'm gonna keep pushing.

I guess the Halloween party did you in huh? :p
Congrats on giving up on drinking.;) I am working on the same thing myself as I just kicked the habbit of smoking not too long ago.:)

Nah, I hadn't made the choice to quit just yet, I had to have something to help me cope with you tools.:p

Smoking's a good thing to give up, it's kinda hard to supply your muscles with oxygen when your lungs are full of tar and carcinogen's. It's amazing to me to see people taking their last puff as they're walking into the gym. As for the alcohol, I don't miss it a bit. I may get back into having a drink or two somewhere down the line, but for now my body (and mind) comes first.

Congrats!
So, what are you doing with the extra $20-50 a week?
I've got a few friends that drink way too much, probably a 12 pack a day (and they are 19 and 20, both underaged)...neither one of them has a car. (one wrecked it, one sold it). They always bitch about not having money...hell, they could save $50-100 a week if they gave up drinking...
I personally dont drink, never have, never will...but I know a few people who quit, and it didn't seem easy.
